Inteha is a Pakistani rock band familiar with the audiences and viewers all around the globe. Locally the band is known for many year now but internationally they came into limelight after their song "PYAR" was declared the song of the week at BBC radio in U.K out of all current international songs. This was among the few Pakistani songs which was declared best song of the week at BBC . This was a huge achievement not for inteha but also for Pakistan .Inteha is basically a rock band consisting of two talented brothers Naukhez Javed and Nausher Javed . Inteha has just recently released their fourth video "KUCH KEHNA CHATA HOON" from there first album . This is also the tittle track of the album . So far the band had came up with three videos . Their first video was called "Daastaan"and was directed by Marium Aziz, wardrobe and styling was done by Munib Nawaz. The second video was of the song called ˜Anjana" and was directed by Xulfi (Call band) which is among one of his best videos and wardrobe was done by Ammar Bilal and styling was done by Nabila . The third video was directed by Abrar-ul-hassan and the wardrobe was done by Munib Nawaz. All three of these videos remained in various music charts and acclaimed huge appreciation from thier fans and the media and music industry .
This video is a directorial debut of Nausher Javed and a huge improvement from there last video . Mahid Khawar takes the charge of wardrobe , styling has been done by Rhizwan and post by Post House. This has turned out to be pleasant and rather successful change, as the look of the video on the whole seems rather fresh and better.The video is a well-balanced amalgamation of concept and performance based clips. Both band members share the same number and amount of shots, a significant change from the discrepancy noted in the last video. This is also the debut music video of the model Kiran.
Thematically, the song is rather thought provoking, although the central philosophy might be easy to miss unless you specially look out for it. The main theme o the song is the beauty of the girl which is shown in a decent and eastern way and touch rather than showing her skin . The lyrics of the song completely complements that video as the main tittle of the songs show that he wants to say something to the girl about her beauty and is praising and admiring her beauty . This is the central idea behind the lyrical content. Nausher Javed is the bands main work force. Apart from playing the guitars and bass, he composes the music and pens down most of the lyrics and is gaining tremendous respect as a musician with depth of perception and dimension of thematic endeavor. He makes sure that in all his work a sound ideology makes the foundation of individual projects. He has done a tremendous job as Director and proved himself as a competent musician and as well as he has also proved himself as a competent Director . Indeed a superb performance, KEHNA CHAHTA HOON comes across as a wave of freshness and simplicity with the emphasis solely upon defining unconditional love.
The most impressive thing about the video is the conceptual part. Like all commercial videos today, a female presence seems to be inevitable. But in contrast to their last video, the model in this one actually plays a meaningful role. The video is shot in a farm house and one thing which makes this video very impressive is the way Nausher has used the natural greenery and the eastern touch which is given in to the video which has become very rare these days. This is a simple and soothing video which gives the feeling of freshness and goes straight into your heart from your eyes. One thing which makes this video special and different from other videos is this that there are no special effects used in the video which gives a very natural effect to the video which has become very rare these days.
Audio wise the song is very mesmerizing and soul touching. The songs is basically an amalgamation of both eastern and western influences. This song is a very eastern kind of a song with a beautiful composition, vocals and lyrics. The instruments played in the song are guitar, violin , drum , keyboard and bass. The audio of the song equally complements the video .
This is the first video to be released after the release of there much anticipated album "Kuch Kehna Chata Hoon" which has become one of the best selling albums of this year. This is basically a rock album in which eastern instruments are played with western feel. In this album they have used ethnic instruments like violin, tabla and flute.
